Connect Jobber to your property managers with Lumberjack

Work orders become Jobber jobs. Scheduling, invoices, proof of work. All back in your property manager’s system automatically.

Work orders become Jobber jobs. Scheduling, invoices, proof of work. All back in your property manager’s system automatically.

Works with Rentvine, Rentec Direct, and Property Meld.

What you get

  • Work orders land in Jobber as jobs, with the client and property address attached

  • Scheduling reaches your property manager without a phone call

  • Invoices and proof of work go back to their system when the job is done

  • No double entry. No re-typing addresses. No emailing PDFs.

Your property manager opts in. We handle the rest.

Before you start

  • A Jobber account, and you’re the owner or an admin

  • A property manager who uses Rentvine, Rentec Direct, or Property Meld

  • Your primary contact’s name and email at each property manager

  • A few minutes

Set up

1. Install from the Jobber App Marketplace

Find Lumberjack Connect in the Jobber App Marketplace and select Install.

2. Approve access

Jobber shows you what Lumberjack is asking for. Approve it to continue. We only request access to what’s needed to create jobs, match clients and properties, and attach invoices and proof of work.

3. Tell us who you work with

You’ll land in Lumberjack. For each property manager, add:

  • The company name

  • The system they use: Rentvine, Rentec Direct, Property Meld, or Other

  • Your primary contact there: name and email

That’s who we send the opt-in link to. Pick the person you already send invoices and updates to. Add as many property managers as you like. If yours uses a system we don’t list yet, select Other and we’ll tell you when it’s supported.

4. Your property manager opts in

We link your Jobber account to your property manager’s system automatically, but only after they opt in. We email your primary contact a secure opt-in link. If someone else on their team should approve it, they can forward the email. Work orders start once it’s approved.

Track each property manager’s status in your Lumberjack dashboard: Waiting on property manager, then Connected. We’ll email you when it changes.

5. Work your first order

Once your property manager has opted in, new work orders appear in Jobber as jobs. Work them like any other job. Schedule, complete, invoice.

What lands where

From your property manager into Jobber

  • Work order → Job

  • Property manager or owner → Client

  • Property address → Property

From Jobber back to your property manager

  • Scheduling → Scheduling

  • Invoice → Invoice

  • Finished job → Proof of work

You keep working in Jobber. The rest is automatic.

Troubleshooting

A work order didn’t show up in Jobber

Check your Lumberjack dashboard. If your property manager shows Waiting on property manager, they haven’t opted in yet. Ask your contact to check their inbox and spam folder for our email. If it shows Connected, contact us and we’ll trace it.

My property manager didn’t get the email

Ask them to check spam and junk. If it’s not there, contact us and we’ll resend it.

I see a duplicate client or property

We match on the property manager and the address. If something looks doubled, send us the two names and we’ll merge them on our side.

An invoice didn’t reach my property manager

Open the job in Jobber and confirm the invoice is sent, not a draft. If it’s sent and still missing, contact us.

My connection expired

Reconnect from your Lumberjack dashboard. It takes under a minute, and nothing already created is lost.

Disconnect

Remove Lumberjack from Jobber at any time in Jobber’s app settings. New work orders stop coming through. Jobs, clients, and invoices already in Jobber stay in your account.
