How does Lumberjack work?

Lumberjack is a marketplace that makes finding residential lawn, yard, and snow services simple. We coordinate, manage, and schedule your property’s service with our network of qualified, and insured local professionals. Let us know what type of service you'd like to receive at your property and we'll handle the rest.

How do I request services?

You can request a quote via our website here, or you may press the “Get a Quote” button on the Home Screen of our mobile app. You will be prompted to create an account prior to submitting your quote request if you have not already logged in.

What happens after I request a quote for services?

We send your quote request to qualified local service providers that have been credentialed to perform services in your area. They will view your request and then submit a service offer. Service providers will respond to your request as quickly as possible.

How do I accept an offer?

After you click on an offer on the Home screen, scroll down to the bottom of the offer and click “Accept Offer”. You will then be asked to enter your credit card information by click the "Add a Payment" button if you haven't already done so. If you are not logged in, you will be asked to log in or create an account.

Do I need to have an account to view offers for my property?

No! You may view offers for your property before you sign up for an account with Lumberjack. However, once you decide to accept an offer or request a quote for services, we will prompt you to create an account. Once you have created an account that is linked to your address, no one else will be able to see offers for your property.

What areas do you currently serve?

We are currently offering services across the entire Twin Cities metro area.

How do I create an account?

You will be asked to create an account before you request a quote for services or accept an offer that is available at your address.

I received an error saying my address is unable to be claimed. What do I do?

Why do I have to enter my credit card information?

In order to accept an offer for services, we require you to have a valid credit card on file. We use Stripe for our payments infrastructure, and they will safely and securely store your credit card information. We will automatically charge your card when services are completed and attested, and we will send you a detailed receipt immediately after your card has been charged. If you ever have any questions about a charge on your credit card, you may enter into contact with the service provider that performed the work for you, or you may reach out to us at contact@lmbrjack.com.

When will I be charged for my service?

You will be charged for your service after the provider performing the work attests to having completed the work. Generally, service providers will attest to services immediately upon completion of each job, but in some cases it may take them a day or two to attest to services performed. For recurring services like lawn mowing, snow plowing, and fertilization, you will be generally charged each day work is performed on your property.

How can I refer a neighbor?

On your “Profile Tab”, click on “Refer a Neighbor”, then click on the box with your unique code to text or email it to a neighbor.

Where can I enter my offer code?

On your "Profile Tab", click on "Refer a Neighbor", then click on the link next to "Were you referred by a neighbor?" After you enter your code, the offer will be automatically applied to your first service
